Custom healthcare software development

Connect healthcare financial reporting and operational workflows around the information your team already uses. We build custom software for EHR and billing-data analysis, document workflows, serialized inventory and provider self-service.

Bring the records behind the work together

Healthcare operations depend on information spread across billing tools, EHR records, spreadsheets, documents and order systems. Our work connects those sources to a defined financial or operational job, giving staff a clearer place to review the information and act.

01

Financial reporting on EHR and billing data

We built a financial reporting dashboard for a wound-care practice working across multiple facilities and professional corporations. It imports billing data and maps facilities, providers, procedures, payers and adjustments into a reporting model.

Finance staff can review billing rollups, facility gross profit and fee schedule information alongside provider and nurse pay rules. Biweekly reconciliation brings issues into view for follow-up, while forecasts, backtests and report snapshots support financial review. The application connects the business meaning of imported records to the questions finance needs to answer.

02

Connections that support the reporting job

The healthcare dashboard connects to the Tebra API, accesses Excel through Microsoft Graph and provides QuickBooks account access through its API. It also produces an ADP RUN import file for the next payroll step.

Each connection serves a defined purpose in the reporting workflow. Mapping source values into a consistent model is part of the work, as different systems organize facilities, providers and billing activity differently. Existing EHR, billing and payroll tools keep their operational roles while the dashboard supplies the combined financial view and the relevant export.

03

EOB and document parsing with a review point

Our healthcare billing work includes EOB and document parsing. An EOB, or explanation of benefits, carries information that staff need to relate to the billing context and the underlying records.

For a new document workflow, discovery defines which details need to be extracted, where they belong and how a reviewer will check them against the source. Human review remains the decision point before consequential updates. Where an external AI provider is part of parsing, we agree the document content it may process before connecting that step to the workflow.

04

Serialized ordering and provider self-service

For a specialty biologics distributor, we built an order-management platform that connects providers, patients, products and serialized inventory. Providers can manage their patients and submit orders through a self-service portal, while internal teams handle the operational work behind them.

Serial numbers follow product units from receiving through patient application. The platform connects structured forms and prior-authorization status to orders, and supports returns tied to order items. Receiving returned products can restock inventory, while payments, commissions and operational documents remain connected to the same order workflow.

Define the workflow. Build in useful phases.

Delivery is Canadian-led, with our senior developers in Europe building Laravel/PHP systems. We begin with paid discovery around a specific financial or operational need, then deliver phased builds with your team involved in reviewing the result.

  1. 01

    Map the sources and responsibilities

We identify who uses the information, how it is recorded and what decision or action follows. Discovery covers the available APIs, exports, document samples and business definitions behind the task.

Read-only access is the default for the initial assessment, with least-privilege access scoped to the work. Together we define the first workflow and the records it needs.

  2. 02

    Build one connected working view

The first phase can focus on a reporting workflow, a document-processing step or an ordering journey. We work through representative records and compare the result with the source information and your team's current process.

In our specialty distribution work, access controls separate administrators, sales representatives, providers and organization teams. We define the relevant roles for your project as part of the workflow design.

  3. 03

    Extend the operational coverage

Later phases can bring in another data source, report, document type or provider task. We examine the effect on the connected records and the people responsible for using them.

This keeps expansion tied to a concrete operational need. The owner can choose the next phase using the working application and the team's experience as a basis for the decision.

These projects show the financial reporting and provider-ordering systems behind our healthcare work. Explore the source-data mapping, connected records and operational workflows that make each application useful to the team.

Questions about healthcare software development

What kind of custom healthcare software do you build?

Our work includes financial reporting on EHR and billing information, EOB and document parsing, and provider ordering connected to serialized inventory. We focus discovery on the operational task, the records it needs and the staff who will use the resulting application.

Can you connect our existing EHR and billing data?

We review the sources and available access first. Our wound-care reporting work includes billing imports and a Tebra API connection, organized through mapping tables before the information reaches reporting views. The practical connection for your project depends on the APIs and exports available.

Can the software support provider self-service?

Yes. Our specialty distribution platform gives providers a portal for patients and orders, connected to the internal order-management system. The build includes structured documentation, serialized product records and returns. Discovery establishes which provider tasks should be part of the first phase.

How do you handle reporting definitions?

We map the source records to the financial or operational meaning the team needs. Our healthcare reporting work includes mappings for facilities, providers, procedures, payers and adjustments. We agree the date basis and calculation context so staff can review a report against the records behind it.

What should we prepare for an initial conversation?

Bring the recurring reporting or operational problem, the systems involved and an example of the current output. An anonymized report, document layout or ordering journey can make the discussion concrete. We can then define a paid discovery scope around the first useful workflow.
